Job Description
In this newly created position, we are looking for someone with a proven track record as a Director of Sourcing and Product Development. This person will work closely with management to source and develop products using our new brand. The ideal candidate will proactively manage potential issues and work with internal partners in cross functional departments to provide resolution with a sense of urgency. We are looking for someone who is able to work strategically and multi-task, manage day-to-day responsibilities, identify and communicate opportunities for improvement and deliver products that meet the high standards we are accustomed to.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate with management to determine high-level initiatives
- Strategically plan and oversee execution of private brand development
- Launch and manage several house-brands simultaneously from initial legal process to market launch.
- Establish promotional marketing tactics to support the business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive planning through the development and promotional process
- Achieve sales and margin goals for existing and new products
Job Requirements
- Previous experience launching new products in the electronics Industry
- Proven background of successful product management
- Effective project and data management leader with strong analytical and financial skill set
